RODING RIVER CLEAN UP

Plasticblitz, is an annual UK wide event that aims to clear up plastic and waste from rivers. Working with Nautica Competition and Are You Mad, many volunteers and communities came together to help tackle the issue of waste pollution before it hits our oceans.

We were joined by the volunteer group Roding Rubbish and of course us. We all mucked in together alongside Nautica Competition’s own volunteers.

On the day we collected 80 bin bags of rubbish across a 5km distance across the Roding River.

At the end of the litter pick, we took all the plastic, sorted and processed it and created custom-branded floating buoy keyrings.
